What bus and train are close to you?
The B38 bus stop is across the street from our Lafayette Avenue entrance. We are around the corner from the Clinton-Washington Avenue stop on the G train. For more detailed transportation information, please visit our Services Times & Directions Page.
Do you have a parking lot?
Unfortunately, we do not have access to a parking lot, nor are we near a paid parking facility. Limited street parking is available. Please allow yourself an extra 15-20 minutes to find a parking space.
How should I dress?
However you feel most comfortable. We do not have a dress code. Some worship in jeans and sneakers, others worship in suits and leather-soled shoes. We don’t believe that Jesus cares what you wear, and neither do we.
Do you ask visitors to stand?
We do not ask visitors to stand. It is important to us that visitors be able to worship intimately and comfortably. However, we hope that you will introduce yourselves to us after the worship service. We love to see new faces.
What time are your worship services?
Our Saturday evening service begins at 5:30PM. Our Sunday services begin at 8:00AM, 10:00AM, and 12:15PM. Our 10:00AM and 12:15PM Sunday services are also streamed live, via our website. For more information, please visit our Worship Online Page.
How long does your worship service last?
All of our worship services last approximately 90 minutes.
What translation of the Bible do you use?
We use the New International Version (NIV).
Do you offer Sunday School services for children?
Yes! We offer Sunday School classes for learners age 3 – adult. Sunday School classes take place from 10:00AM – 11:30AM.
Do you offer a weekly Bible Study?
We do not offer a traditional weekly Bible Study experience. Instead, we have chosen to implement a small groups curriculum, based upon the previous weekend’s sermon, enabling participants to more deeply connect to God’s word and one another. Small Groups are limited to 10-12 people and meet nearly every day of the week. Select groups even meet off campus. For more information about Small Groups, please contact Rev. What must I do to become a member of EBC?
Membership involves a couple of steps. The first is the confession of Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. The second requires the completion of a couple of courses that familiarize, or refresh, you with the basic tenets of the Baptist Church. When does Baptism take place?
Baptism frequently takes place every 4th Sunday of the month, beginning with our 12:15PM worship service.
